Busgosu, the Horned Lord of Asturias

Round the sacred yew trees in the great wilds of Asturias, Lord Busgosu, the great spirit of the forest, leads the fay-folk in their night-time revelry. The satyr-like deity protects the forest-people from any humans who find themselves lost in Cantabria’s sacred woods, guiding them safely home.
